1. Aggregate Batching System
Since silo loading is affected by auxiliary equipment and site, the silo volume should be larger.
The volume of a single silo in a concrete mixing plant is generally larger than 20m³. If a belt conveyor or concrete silo is used for loading, it can be even larger to reduce the floor space of the stockpile yard. The volume of a single silo in a mixing plant is generally greater than 50m³. Concrete mixing plants are generally batched by batching stations, which have two structural forms. The all-steel batching station uses ground batching, which is easy to maintain and drain, but difficult to load. Loaders or belt conveyors are often used for loading. The silo of the steel-concrete structure batching station is a concrete structure. The silo is ground-type, which is convenient for loading and easy to keep warm, but difficult to maintain. Loaders, bulldozers or dump trucks can be used to load directly.
2. Aggregate Lifting System
Generally, belt conveyors and hoppers are used for lifting. Belt conveyors have high production efficiency, reliable performance, are easy to seal, are not easily affected by climate, and have low maintenance costs, but they occupy a large area. Lifting hoppers are generally only used in concrete mixing plants. They have a compact structure and small footprint, but they have high maintenance costs and poor reliability. Therefore, they are rarely used in large concrete mixing plants. At present, there are also patterned belts and grooved belt conveyors, which can greatly increase the lifting angle. The grooved belt can be lifted vertically, but due to its reliability and the problem of back-carrying materials, it is generally not widely used.
3. Main Body of Concrete Batching Plant
Generally, it is fully enclosed with a centralized dust removal device inside. In cold areas, winter construction requirements should also be considered, and insulation exterior should be used. Open-type concrete mixing plants and simple-type concrete mixing plants are rarely seen in newly built commercial concrete mixing equipment due to their poor environmental performance, and their use has been banned in some areas.
4. Measuring System
Currently, the weight measurement method is adopted, which is divided into two forms: cumulative measurement and independent measurement. The cumulative measurement structure is simple, easy to maintain, and has a low feeding height, but the measuring accuracy cannot be controlled independently. Independent measurement controls measuring accuracy independently, with a more complex structure, increased loading height, and higher costs.
5. Powder Storage and Conveying Device
The number and size of powder storage tanks should be configured according to needs. Generally determined by the material type and supply conditions, the powder tank should be equipped with a material level controller. There are generally two types of powder conveying devices: pneumatic conveying has a simple structure and uniform feeding, but it is difficult to control the air pressure for long-distance conveying; The conveying distance of screw conveyor is long, the overall structure is easy to arrange, and the operation is reliable. Currently, most concrete mixing plants use screw conveyor.
